Blue Collar Money: Theories of Middle Class Investing

How the Information Age is Distorting Biblical Investing

Episode Summary

In this episode we discuss the issues around collection information to build your financial narrative. We revisit principles from Episode 2 and work through what we have both learned over the past year regarding distilling information to invest Biblically.

Episode Notes

One of the biggest problems facing investors today who are interested in having a redemptive influence is the issue of information - where to get it, how to curate it, and how to navigate the obstacles of trusting information.

We put together a short list that has been helpful to us in curating information to invest well.  Again, our goal with this podcast is to teach people how to get "unstuck" but for the purpose of moving the Gospel forward - joining God in the "good work" He has left for us to do.  We hope this episode helps you move your investing narrative forward and helps renew your vigor to see God move in your life and those you serve.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about this process.

  1. Keep the Gospel central
  2. Be honest about your background
  3. Find a place to hear both sides
  4. All data is curated so it can be manipulated
  5. Seek information through relationships
